Safety at OLG

Dear Parents & Caregivers,

The SAFETY of our students, staff, and Our Lady of Grace families at large, is our top priority.  It is also a collective responsibility.  We want our community to remain healthy and health-conscious, and we are requesting your support and cooperation.

Public Health mandates mask-wearing in our community when physical distancing cannot be maintained. Our school yard, along the walkways and fenced area, has become one such place, in the past days. We ask you to please abide by the following:

PLEASE wear a mask when walking  your child to the yard or if  you are exiting your vehicle.

PLEASE be cognizant of your proximity to other community members, including the children.

Now that all of our students have successfully started school, routines have been established.   In the morning, students should enter the school yard and walk directly to their class line and line up physically distanced. Parents & caregivers should continue to remain outside of the fenced area.  If accompanying a child to a kindergarten entry, we ask one caregiver per family, please. We need to keep our staff, student body and their families safe.

Thank you for continuing to park and walking your children to their yard.  NO CARS ARE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE BUS LOOP IN THE FRONT OF THE SCHOOL FROM 8:00 – 8:45  AND 2:30 – 3:15. THIS IS FOR SCHOOL BUSES ONLY. There is no parking anywhere except the designated parking spots on the east side of the school.

This effort will take everyone’s cooperation and is in the best interest of safety for all students and the community.

We appreciate your support in being preventative and proactive.

Yours in Catholic Education,

F. Grossi
