Dear Parents/Guardians,
I hope you are all keeping well and enjoying the summer and looking forward to the start of the upcoming school year. Please expect ongoing and regular communication over the next couple of weeks as we prepare the school re-entry procedures, protocols and practices in an effort to keep our school community safe. This week marks the return to work for our office staff. Please note that entry to the school will be restricted in order to establish a safe environment. Until further notice, visitors are not allowed to enter the school unless they have a pre-arranged appointment time. Parents/Guardians are asked to contact the school by telephone 905-727-5631 or email olg@ycdsb.ca if assistance is required.
The following is information that you may find helpful as you plan for the start of the school year:
- First Day of School: The first day of school for all students (Grades K-8) is Wednesday, September 8th.
- Suggested School Materials: Please find below a list of items that are recommended for your child to bring to school in September.

Please note that information in the plan will be updated if changes from York Region Public Health and the Ministry of Education necessitate an update.
