The students at Our Lady of Grace CES are truly off to a great school year. It is such a blessing to see our many students back and ready to learn. To gain a greater appreciation of the learning journey ahead, we are very pleased to be hosting our first ever Virtual Curriculum Night on Thursday, September 23rd.
On this evening, parents will be provided with 2 opportunities to ‘virtually’ meet the teacher via your child’s Google Classroom. Session 1 will run from 6:30-7:00 p.m. and Session 2 will run from 7:00-7:30 p.m. Please note that you are welcome to attend either session. There will be two sessions for our non-classroom teaching staff (French, Phys-Ed, Music) at 7:30-7:45 and 7:45-8:00.
How do I attend?
A Google Meet Link will be shared with you from your child(ren)’s teacher via their Google Classroom. If you are having difficulty accessing your child’s Google Classroom, please check your email to ensure you accepted the invite to this platform; ask your child to login from a home device; or contact your child’s teacher in the days to come.
What do I do after logging in?
Please ensure that your microphone is on mute during the teacher’s presentation. There will be an opportunity to ask questions at the end of the presentation. If there are multiple questions, parents can simply click on the ‘Raise Hand’ function so that we can ensure that all answers are addressed. However, please note that any questions should be curriculum or classroom routine-related. Due the format of the Google Meet platform, any questions or concerns regarding your child or that are private in nature should be reserved to a phone call with the teacher or school administration at a later date.
The OLG staff look forward to meeting you, and showcasing the great things that are happening at OLG.
