Halloween at OLG

We will celebrate Halloween on Friday, October 30 at OLG. Children, both in-person and remote, are invited to wear a Halloween Costume or dress in orange and black. Parents/Guardians, please ensure that your child’s costume does not depict violence, is trauma sensitive, does not offend cultural groups in any way and is appropriate for the moral tone of a Catholic school. As always, your child should NOT carry a replica weapon to school (i.e., sword/knife/gun, etc.). Also, wearing costume masks that cover a child’s face will not be permitted as we need to be able to identify any unwelcome guests.

All students in Grades 4 to 8 must wear their mask covering as regularly required for COVID-19 Protocols.

Please note that due to COVID-19 precautions and restrictions, the following is not permitted this year:

– Sharing of treats, candy, food, pencils, erasers, etc.

– Halloween Dances.

– Costume parades around the school.
